1. About this policy and who we are

Manjing Cultural Tourism (Sichuan) Co., Ltd., operating as Manjing Travel, is responsible for the personal information described in this policy. It covers our website, travel enquiries, communications, subscriptions and travel arrangements.

Our business address is 10th Floor, Building 1, No. 3 Jialing Road, Wuhou District, Chengdu, Sichuan, China, 610000. For privacy questions or requests, contact [email protected].

2. Information we collect

When you contact us or request a trip, we collect the details you provide, such as your name, email, telephone number, country, travel dates, destinations, group size, interests, budget and message. We also keep correspondence and relevant enquiry or booking references.

If needed to arrange your trip, we may separately request traveller names, nationality, passport or visa details, arrival information, emergency contacts and special requirements. We will explain what is needed and why. Initial website enquiries do not require payment card details or passport scans.

Newsletter records include your email, subscription choice, consent record and unsubscribe status. Our website and technology providers may also receive technical information such as IP address, browser, device, pages visited and request times. Enquiries may include the source page or campaign information.

3. Sensitive information

We request sensitive information, such as identity documents or health and accessibility needs, only where necessary for a particular travel arrangement. We will explain the purpose, who needs it and any effect on your rights, and obtain separate consent where required.

Please provide only relevant details. Do not send passport scans, detailed medical records, bank passwords or card security codes through a general enquiry form. Ask your travel consultant for the appropriate collection method when sensitive documents are needed.

4. How we use personal information

We use information to answer enquiries, prepare itineraries and quotations, communicate with you and arrange requested travel services. For confirmed trips, this may include coordinating hotels, guides, transport, tickets and permits, and dealing with changes, assistance or complaints.

We also use relevant information to protect the website, prevent misuse, improve our services, keep necessary business records and meet legal obligations. We send travel offers and newsletters when you opt in; submitting an enquiry does not subscribe you.

We use identifiable trip photographs or videos for promotion with your permission, as explained in our Terms & booking conditions. You may decline or withdraw permission for future use by contacting us. Children require a parent or legal guardian's permission.

6. How we share information

We share relevant information with people involved in your requested arrangements, such as guides, hotels, transport operators and ticket or permit providers. We limit disclosure to what is needed for the service and provide additional recipient information or seek consent where required.

Technology providers may process information for website hosting, databases, email delivery, analytics (including Vercel Web Analytics) and document or media storage. Providers acting on our behalf must handle it under appropriate instructions and safeguards. Independent travel suppliers may also have their own privacy obligations and notices.

We may disclose information to authorities or professional advisers where required or permitted by law, including to respond to emergencies or legal claims. We do not sell or rent your personal information for third-party marketing.

7. International transfers

Our team is based in mainland China. If you contact us from another country, your enquiry will be handled by that team. Technology providers or suppliers involved in your arrangements may process information in other locations.

Where an international transfer requires additional notice, separate consent or another safeguard, we will address those requirements before the relevant transfer. Contact us for the recipients and locations relevant to your information. This policy does not authorise unrestricted overseas transfers.

8. How long we keep information

We keep information for the time needed to handle your enquiry, provide agreed services and meet relevant recordkeeping, legal or dispute-resolution requirements. Retention depends on the information and its purpose; sensitive travel documents should not be kept longer than necessary.

After you unsubscribe, we may retain limited records of your consent and unsubscribe choice to respect your preference and prevent unwanted marketing. When other information is no longer needed, we delete or anonymise it, subject to legal requirements.

9. Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect information, including access restrictions for authorised personnel and safeguards appropriate to the information involved. We do not guarantee that every internet transmission or storage system is completely secure.

Use the collection method agreed with your consultant for sensitive documents. Contact us promptly if you suspect misuse of information you have provided. We will address security incidents and give any notifications required by applicable law.

10. Your rights and choices

Subject to applicable law, you may request access to your information, correction, deletion, restriction of processing, withdrawal of consent or a copy in a portable form where that right applies. You may also object to uses where the law gives you that right and ask us to explain how your information is handled.

Email:[email protected] with your request. We may need proportionate identity checks to protect your information. We will respond within the period required by law and explain any lawful reason we cannot fully fulfil a request.

To stop marketing emails, follow the unsubscribe link and confirmation instructions in the message, or contact us. You will still receive necessary messages about an active enquiry or trip.

11. Cookies, local storage and analytics

We may use cookies and similar browser storage to help the website work, remember your preferences and understand how it is used. You can block or delete these through your browser settings, although some features may be affected. Where required by law, we request separate consent for optional analytics.

12. Children and information about other travellers

Our enquiry and booking services are intended for adults. A parent or legal guardian should arrange a child's trip and provide only the information necessary. Where required, we obtain guardian consent and apply additional protections to children's information.

If you provide another traveller's or emergency contact's details, make sure you are authorised to do so and share this policy with them. Contact us if you believe a child has supplied information without appropriate permission so we can investigate and take the necessary action.

13. Third-party websites

Links to other websites or services, including social media and messaging platforms, are governed by those providers' privacy policies. Embedded services such as video players may receive your IP address and device information when they load or you interact with them. Review their notices before providing information directly to them. This policy covers information handled by Manjing Travel.

14. Changes and complaints

We may update this policy when our services or information practices change. The date above identifies the current version. We will give additional notice or seek fresh consent where required by law.

If you have a privacy concern, Email:[email protected] so we can investigate. You may also raise a complaint with the relevant privacy or data protection authority available to you under applicable law.
