Terms and Conditions

Before making a reservation, please read the following terms and conditions carefully and ensure that you fully understand their meaning, as these terms and conditions form the basis of your contract with Manjing Cultural Tourism (Sichuan) Co., Ltd. You must not make any reservation unless you fully understand our terms and conditions and agree to be bound by them.

References to “Manjingtravel.com”, “Manjing Travel”, “Manjing Trip”, “we”, “us” and/or “our” herein refer to Manjing Culture Tourism (Sichuan) Co., Ltd. “Client”, “you” and/or “your” refer to all persons named on the booking form (including any persons subsequently added or replaced), or any of them as applicable.

These terms and conditions apply to any booking you make through our consultants, by phone, email, and online bookings made on our website.

By making a booking (which becomes effective and binding on you when you receive the purchase confirmation), you undertake on behalf of all persons detailed in the booking that:

  1. He/she has read these terms and conditions in full and is authorized and agrees to be bound by them.
  2. He/she has read the important information section specific to the travel package he/she has purchased in full and agrees to the terms stated therein.
  3. He/she consents to our use of information in accordance with our privacy policy.
  4. He/she is over 18 years of age and, when making a booking with age restrictions, declares that he/she and all members of the group are of appropriate age to purchase these services.
  5. He/she assumes financial responsibility for the payment of the booking on behalf of all persons detailed in the booking.

Booking & Pricing

  • Booking through Manjing Travel is only for customers who are 18 years of age or at least 18 years of age. Persons under 18 years of age using the travel services of Manjing Travel need to be accompanied by at least one adult who is 18 years of age or above.
  • When a customer enters the booking process at Manjing Travel, it is deemed that the customer himself is willing to make an online booking in good faith.
  • The prices displayed on the Manjing Travel website shall be deemed as a quotation based on the basic information provided by the customer and filling in the online price list. If the customer has any special conditions or additional requirements, our travel consultant will inform the final tour package price by email immediately after receiving your written request email.
  • If any incorrect price is published on the Manjing Travel website, we reserve the right to cancel, modify or limit orders placed at the incorrect price.

By submitting a booking, the customer acknowledges and guarantees to abide by these arrangements.

Itinerary Changes

We cannot control unforeseen circumstances that require adjustments to your travel arrangements, and we reserve the right to cancel or reschedule departures and itineraries. If we deem it necessary to change the accommodation arrangements, Manjingtravel.com We reserve the right to replace it with accommodation of the same standard without any liability.

We reserve the right to make changes to the itinerary in the event of any of the following events or circumstances:

Events or circumstances beyond our control such as war, fire, epidemic, health risk, typhoon, earthquake and other actual or potential adverse weather conditions. In this case, if it occurs, additional fees will be charged, regardless of the amount.

Changes in flight schedules or ground transportation and/or events beyond the control of manjingtravel.com.

You can also request changes to your travel itinerary, and manjingtravel.com will process the changes free of charge before booking. All booking change requests must be made in writing by the original booking requester. All costs associated with booking changes shall be borne by the customer, including but not limited to all fees and charges incurred by third parties (such as cruise operators, airlines and hotels).

Cancellation

If you intend to cancel a travel product (tour package or special travel arrangement), you must notify our travel consultant as soon as possible. You must immediately contact our travel consultant via the same email address you used when contacting Manjingtravel.com or [email protected].

All cancellation requests should be made in writing via email to [email protected] and the following general cancellation charges will apply from the date of receipt of the written cancellation request.

For all tour packages, Manjingtravel.com will charge a cancellation fee as a percentage of the total tour package price as follows:

– More than 22 days before the tour start date: 10% of the full payment per person

– 15 – 21 days before the tour start date: 20% of the full payment per person

– 8 – 14 days before the tour start date: 50% of the full payment per person

– 0 – 7 days before the tour start date: 100% of the full payment per person

Any fees charged by third parties (airline/cruise/train companies, hotels, other service providers, card fees, bank fees) cannot be waived.

For all cancellations, manjingtravel.com will make every effort to ensure that your interests are taken into account. However, late cancellations may result in compensation claims from hotels, cruise operators and other service providers. In addition to the above cancellation fees, any fees associated with the cancellation of your booking (including but not limited to the relevant flights, hotels and Yangtze River cruises) will also be deducted from your account (if any).

If a confirmed tour reservation is cancelled during the tour, or any item is missed due to any act or omission on your part, including but not limited to early departure, late arrival or cancellation of attractions, the unused services cannot be refunded and are not exchangeable.

Please note that the cancellation fees for certain tour packages and services may vary. Please refer to the cancellation terms and fees listed on the specific tour package page for details.

The above general cancellation rules may not apply to the following services: domestic flights, city tours, day tours and cruise tours, which include transportation, accommodation, train tickets and cruises. Manjingtravel.com is not obligated to refund any of these services booked through us. If a tour package has stricter cancellation rules, the information will be stated in the online package details.

Please note: Special terms may apply to certain promotions, please refer to the specific terms and conditions displayed on certain pages of the promotions.

Booking Confirmation

After successful payment, you will receive a booking confirmation email with additional details about the booking process provided by our travel consultants. It is the customer’s responsibility to read the email carefully as almost all of our tour packages require customers to submit a Traveler Information Form by a specific deadline to complete the tour package booking. manjingtravel is not responsible for any fees, fines, penalties, costs or losses incurred as a result of failure to follow the booking process instructions listed in the booking confirmation email.

If your booking confirmation email instructs you to submit an online Traveler Information Form, please note that the details contained in this form are final and will be used for ticketing purposes. Any changes to your booking requested after submitting the online Traveler Information Form are not guaranteed and will incur additional fees.

The booking confirmation email is only valid for the travel dates specified in your tour product details. Once this validity period has passed, the booking confirmation email will be considered invalid and non-refundable in full or in part. We recommend booking at least three months in advance. Peak periods such as weekends or holidays should be booked in advance.

We are not responsible for the loss or absence of the booking confirmation email, any fraudulent use of the unique reference number of the booking confirmation email, or any losses caused by your inability to access, print or download the booking confirmation email.

Travel Documents

All travelers must have a valid passport and necessary visas or permits before traveling. For international travel, the passenger’s passport needs to be valid for at least six months from the date of return and have at least two blank pages at the time of travel. Visas (including transit visas and re-entry permits) are the responsibility of the passenger.

Health Requirements

All travelers must be in good physical and mental health to travel. It is your responsibility to ensure that you are aware of all health requirements of the destination you are traveling to. For some countries, failure to disclose your health status may result in the relevant country refusing you entry, or in your detention, deportation or repatriation. Vaccinations are strongly recommended for travel to certain destinations, and in some cases, vaccination documents may be a condition of entry. Please note that vaccinations may be recommended well in advance of travel. It is the customer’s sole responsibility to check the security conditions, vaccinations and other health requirements of the government of the country being visited or transited.

Visitors to Tibet must provide a doctor’s certificate certifying that they are in good physical condition to travel and that their blood pressure and heart condition are normal. This is a necessary requirement because the high altitude may have an impact.

Travel Insurance

We strongly recommend that you purchase comprehensive travel insurance immediately after booking and paying for your tour package to protect yourself from unforeseen circumstances.

We also recommend that your insurance policy includes (but is not limited to) cancellation, baggage, theft, personal liability, accident and medical coverage, as well as any other requirements specific to your travel plans.

Complaint Procedure

If you are dissatisfied with our service, please file a complaint with our tour guide or travel consultant as soon as possible to avoid similar problems on your trip.

If your complaint is not handled by the tour guide or travel consultant, or you are dissatisfied with the way your complaint has been handled or is being handled, you must notify us by email within 14 days of the end of your trip. Failure to email us within 14 days will be deemed as your choice not to proceed with the complaint and agree to waive any rights in connection with it.

Communication

You can contact ManjingTravel through the web form on our website www.manjingtravel.com, email, fax or phone. If for any reason you do not receive a response regarding the status of your trip within 48 hours of submitting your reservation, change or cancellation request, please contact ManjingTravel Customer Service Center, [email protected] or call 86-02885554246 immediately to ensure that your inquiry can be processed in accordance with our terms and conditions.

Liability and Obligations

Manjing Travel is not responsible for any loss, damage, accident, injury, illness or schedule change caused by weather, strikes, natural disasters or any other reasons beyond the control of China Travel.

Manjing Travel publishes travel information and services collected from selected quality hotels, ticket agents, travel agencies and operators. The travel information we publish is for reference only, and it is your responsibility to verify the completeness, accuracy or otherwise of such information. Manjing Travel is not responsible for any errors, omissions or inaccuracies in the information provided by any third-party supplier.

Manjingtravel.com is not responsible for any errors, negligence or fraud, omissions, itinerary changes, cancellations or any equipment failures operated by the above suppliers or any other party not directly owned or controlled by Manjing Travel.

Manjing Travel is not responsible for your failure to comply with customs regulations.

Manjing Travel is not responsible for the theft or loss of customers’ valuables or personal property due to customer negligence.

Manjing Travel reserves the right to change hotels, flights or cruises, change itineraries or cancel trips before departure. If Manjing Travel cancels any tour before the tour commences, Manjing Travel is liable to refund in full the monies received from the client.

Many of Manjing Travel’s tour packages include activities that require reasonable care and attention. These activities include embarking on ships, going ashore, climbing mountains, entering and exiting tombs and caves, etc.

Manjing Travel, its employees and agents shall not be held responsible for any actions or events that occur after its aforementioned employees and agents have performed their duties and taken the necessary care that is normally expected.

All information on the Manjing Travel website is subject to change. Manjing Travel reserves the right to change/alter/correct errors that may appear on the website or published price lists.

Manjing Travel reserves the right to amend or withdraw all or part of the terms and conditions at any time without prior notice and without incurring any liability.

Privacy Policy

At China Travel, we are committed to providing you with a hassle-free trip to China. We believe in protecting your privacy. That is why we only ask you to provide information that is relevant to the services we provide. If you submit personal information to us by phone, website, mail, fax, email or any other means, this information will only be used to arrange your trip in China and will never be sold, rented, shared or passed on to any unauthorized third party.
